Beverley, or as we knew her, Kate, Lever, died in November 1982 at just the tender age of 12.

Kate and I were in the swimming team together and this seems a fitting tribute to her memory. 

I know many people from primary and secondary school were impacted by such a devastating lose to a disease, then, we knew very little about. 

I would like to express my thanks to Kate's family for letting me raise money in her name. 

On the 15th July I will be swimming above the Artic Circle, night swimming in the bright Nordic summer night. 

Starting from the Finish shore right after midnight, Finnish hour. I will not only swim over the border between Sweden and Finland but also cross the Arctic Circle and the time zone. I expect to cross the finish line before the day the competition began.
